Hi! I’m Allie, the human behind Life with Bogey — a blog dedicated to the adventures with my large breed rescue pup, Bogey.

I will talk about large breed dog care, gear, and everything I’ve learned raising Bogey, my 100-pound goofy good boy rescue mutt.

When I brought Bogey home, I quickly realized that most dog advice out there is written for average-sized dogs — not the XL beds, heavy-duty leashes, and joint-health concerns that come with a big breed. So I started documenting what actually works for us: gear that survives, training tips built for size and strength, and the adventures we’ve had along the way.
